These were made from our photos and were fun to do.
The helicopter pilot in the one photo was my father's pilot in Vietnam. He did as promised in the photo for my dad but did not survive himself and was killed in Vietnam.
The luminaries are lit every Memorial Day weekend in the Fredericksburg National Cemetery by local scouts. They place and light over 15,000 luminaries as a tribute to the mostly (80%) unknown soldiers buried here.
The photo of peace and solitude was taken near Capital Reef National Park in Utah. It is truly an amazing place to remember what is important in your life.
