Hiking
Ricketts Glen State Park
This is a great place for hiking as the trails range from easy to rather difficult. The trails along the falls are beautiful in the fall, but can be extremely dangerous in the winter. Winter hikers along these trails are encouraged to use clamp-ons for traction along the falls. Hikers during other seasons are also encouraged to wear proper footwear as numerous hikers, wearing everyday sneakers, have had to be carried out by search and rescue after loosing their footing along these sometimes wet and slippery trails.
